Here’s the final product!
4 piece crown was this weeks challenge. With only 7” above cabinet to ceiling applying one pc at a time wasn’t an option. Luckily I had just recently watched Tom Silva on TOH assemble his multiple pc crown on the bench. Then apply as one pc. So I decided to trust my tape measure and go for it!
A new year and a new project fills up the shop!
Installed the white oak corner post today. Getting closer to completion 😉
I had a drain pipe to hide in the wine cellar. So I made a white oak box to match the sliding door. I used a piece of end grain from a left over slab I had for the end. Now in place it looks like the end of a real beam.
The mega entertainment center is finally complete! Just waiting on door pulls. It’s 12’ wide and 10’ tall. Featuring a Dalite power, projection screen. Movies 🎥 at night then retract the screen to reveal wall art.
The cellar is starting to come together!
Then make some metal straps, paint to match sliding hardware, a little stain. Wah lah! White oak sliding (barrel) door
Inspiration, to sketch...to build...
Finishing up sliding door for new wine cellar. It’s made of white oak to match the wine barrel table also going in room. Next I will be applying black metal to mimic barrel hoops.
Started construction of upper entertainment center. Laying out positioning of power projection screen today.
Installed oak and glass railing today made from this slab.
